Overview
On a day-to-day basis I was assigned a variety of tasks from primarily managers and associates in the valuations team. These altered from conducting industry analysis for reports or being involved in financial modelling activities for transactions.
Skills
I would agree that I learnt a lot of new skills, from communication to technical skills. One particular skill which I would say improved the most during my time as an intern here was my excel skills.
Responsibilities
In terms of responsibility during my internship, I would say that I was given a fair amount of independence in my work. Often, I was briefed on what to do and then would conduct the work in my own time, updating the managers once it was completed for them to review.
Support & Guidance
I was provided lots of support, particularly from my line manager and other associates who were happy to help in mentoring and coaching me.
Culture
The general company culture and atmosphere was a very young orientated office. Everyone is very friendly and always happy to help out in anything they can.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship, I learnt a lot and believe it will be invaluable to my future career development.
