    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My role consisted mainly of archiving old pamphlets published by the foundation, however this was usually balanced by other tasks such as researching, editing and proof reading throughout the day. I was given the freedom to move onto different tasks if I needed to take a break from archiving, and to learn more about the work of the foundation and the topics that they focused on.

  • I’ve learned many skills useful in the publishing industry, as well as how a small organisation runs and how to research complex issues in todays world.

  • It was incredibly friendly, relaxed and personable, and I looked forward to going into work in the morning.

  • While anyone would enjoy working for this organ, I would say that to get the most out of this opportunity a passion for political theory and philosophy is very important.
