Overview
Visit to the Bloomberg offices in London to get the basics of the work they do, the Analytics and Sales role and the career plan they offer to graduates. From 9 to 5 you will take part into different lectures, and activities with employees to learn about the already mentioned.
Skills
Mostly, how to use the Bloomberg Terminal, and how the company works. Besides that, communication skills are also very important.
Business Insight
It was very interesting to see how a fintech company operates opposed to classic financial firms, the Analytics career path focuses more on sales but there is room for mobility between roles.
Culture
Great work environment, very diverse company with lots of different profiles and free food.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it, it really gives you a good understanding about the company and the roles available. Besides that, learning how to use the terminal is very useful and during the week you meet very interesting people that you can keep in touch with.
