Overview
I really enjoyed my time at Citi. I was pleasantly surprised by the sales role that I covered as it is not your typically sales job. You have to conduct in-depth market analysis to produce a strategy for the sales team to implement and develop as a consequence of not winning over previous clients. I found it very stimulating and the people here are great. Great culture and I would love to come back full time.
Skills
I have developed my interpersonal skillset by interacting with people of all ages ranging from analysts my age to managing directors. I also developed my analytical skillset by conducting market research for the strategy and presentation skills to be able to effectively communicate my findings.
Responsibilities
I was given enough responsibility to feel like my internship was worthwhile and providing a contribution but not too much that I was putting anything at risk with the clients or feeling stressed about failing.
Support & Guidance
I received lots of support from my team over in Ireland and especially from my colleagues around me in the London office.
Culture
I loved the atmosphere and culture here, I felt like I really belonged in the team. Great culture and everyone is very willing to help you and to meet up with you.
