The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, I couldn't ask for a better law firm to work for.
I felt completely included and part of the team after only a couple of days.
I had 3 supervisors and between them they always made sure I had enough to be doing.
I never felt under pressure to get lots of things done, but I was aware of the practice group's workload so I was kept motivated to get through work.
I was given research work that was to be sent out nationwide, but everything I did was double-checked so that I wasn't under too much pressure.
It's a starting step - there is a lot more to learn, but I learned very valuable skills that will be used every day in a law firm.
The Company
The atmosphere is fantastic. People are working hard, but there's no stress; people get on with it and joke about at the same time.
Great structure, but flexible at the same time.
The placement was only for 2 weeks, but a lot was invested in us in that time.
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
I would love a job here!
The Culture
There are good relationships between people and sports teams which we can join. Perfect.
I worked where I live normally so no change.
Glasgow is a vibrant city with lots happening at all times.
In two weeks there wasn't much chance, but working there full time there are sports clubs and sometimes social evenings/events.
