Skills
I have developed my understanding of the rates market, as well as the respective derivatives as well as the complexities in how such assets are priced. I have become much better at using Bloomberg which is fundamental for anyone looking to work in markets. I have improved my self-learning skills in working on a project that required background research. I have developed my communication skills with two presentations and daily contributions to morning meetings.
Responsibilities
As much as I could have reasonably had in the position I was in.
Support & Guidance
Lots of sessions with other traders on the desk, including daily lessons from my manager. Other traders/support functions also very happy to teach. The week of training was also outstanding in terms of the quality of training.
Culture
Friendly, collaborative and welcoming.
Your Impressions
I had a brilliant time. If you are interested in global markets, this is a brilliant place to learn.
