Overview
Shadowing Sales & traders, seeing their day to day activities, working on automating some processes and some analysis for the teams
Skills
Yes, I did develop my coding skills
Responsibilities
I was given a decent amount of responsibility, working and adding value to the team
Support & Guidance
I was given decent guidance but when times are busy it was harder to get guidance or interactions with the traders and Sales people. It was easier to engage with structuring teams even in busy times
Culture
The company's culture was very enjoyable, the structure is very flat so it was much easier to engage with senior people, they were also very responsive to our requests, allocating time and resources to explain new or foreign concepts
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it, I interned in different banks. But this was my most enjoyable experience so far.
Yes
Be open-minded Enjoy the learning curve Be understanding when times are busy Be socially aware that critics aren't personal it's more for the future development
