Overview
- Working with the insurance reporting team to consolidate results - Working with accounting and financial operations teams to check journals and payments for ongoing deals - Conducting and compiling research for final presentation
Skills
- Developed teamwork, organisational, communication, research, and time management skills - Developed Excel and some coding knowledge - Learnt technical skills like using PowerBI, checking accounting journals, and updating Excel input links
Responsibilities
- Mainly worked on BAU tasks under various managers - Tasked with creating matrix to aid organisation and tracking with full responsibility - Worked in a team of other interns to deliver end-of-internship project that we were given full responsibility for
Support & Guidance
- Received a lot of support and guidance from my manager - Also was able to reach out to other members of the team and across the organisation when needed - Early Careers team was always available and approachable for help
Culture
- Very positive, supportive, and nurturing culture in the company - The environment was very welcoming and friendly--we were encouraged to reach out to anyone we wanted and everyone in the office was always up for a chat

- I thoroughly enjoyed my internship--I had the opportunity to develop my knowledge and skills to a great extent, while networking across the business - I would definitely recommend this internship to anyone interested!
