Overview
I was given a team project to work on throughout my placement so my daily activities consisted of working towards our deadlines and meetings with the team.
Skills
I have developed my people skills and engineering skills (analytical, design) as well as a commercial awareness for evaluating and planning for projects.
Responsibilities
I worked on a project which will continue to be used in the business. We worked independently with regular interactions with supervisors.
Support & Guidance
I was given quite a lot of support and advice throughout the internship from managers and other employees in the wider team.
Culture
The company culture was very welcoming and supportive and it allowed me to settle in very well to my team.
Your Impressions
I largely enjoyed it and hope to come back again!
Yes
I would tell them to not be scared of asking questions and introducing themselves to the wider team and leadership teams and try to use these people to learn as much as possible.
