Overview
My role involved engaging with my team’s work on a day-to-day basis, as well as the completion of an intern project over the course of the 10 weeks.
Skills
I have developed regulatory skills and understanding, as well as data analysis skills through the use of tools such as Microsoft Excel and Tableau.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility to handle my own work and engage with members of my team on their work.
Support & Guidance
I was given a great deal of support and guidance to learn new skills, meet people from other areas of my organisation and engage in the organisation’s work.
Culture
The company culture and atmosphere demonstrated the organisation’s focus on development and producing meaningful work, which made this company a great place to work at in my opinion.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship; it has provided me with new skills and development opportunities for pre-existing skills, as well as a deeper understanding of the organisation’s work and the industry it operates in.
Yes
I would suggest researching the organisation as much as possible so that you join the organisation from a strong position, but also to be open to new learning and opportunities since these can be experienced during the internship.
