Your Impressions
My role was not specifically related to the career I wish to pursue but it was in the right area of the business. Regardless I thoroughly enjoyed my internship. I've learnt so much about the industry, business and how it relates to what I want to do in the future. I had the opportunity to interact with people performing the roles that I was considering as a future career.
Yes
The internship gives you access to so many areas of the business, even if you don't know exactly what you want to do, this is a great experience to help you figure it out. If you do know what you want to do, an internship will not only provide you with experience but a nurturing environment to help you grow and be a better candidate for your future career.
