Overview
Role involves document review, document management, stakeholder management, teamwork and communication, as well as cross-organisational coordination.
Skills
Yes! I have developed my ability to take ownership and initiative over my work. I have had the opportunity to identify inconsistencies in both procedures and data relevant to criminal investigations and have been afforded the ability to navigate these inconsistencies and take charge of meetings and cross-organisational discussions to address and rectify these issues.
Responsibilities
Yes! I had decision-making authority in the review of over a thousand key documents for criminal crypto investigations. I was trusted to review and determine the relevance of these documents. I was also given authority to organise and chair cross-departmental meetings to address inconsistencies in evidence and protocols on several occasions.
Support & Guidance
Throughout my internship, my case team has been available and willing to help me adjust and get acquainted with FCA procedures and case specific facts and protocols. I have been impressed by the willingness of employees within the wider organisation to take the time to meet with me to explain their roles and help me develop my organisational and industry knowledge.
Culture
The company culture is top-tier! Everyone is approachable, friendly and communicates effectively with a warm a smile. There is a strong culture of workplace friendship and cordiality.
