Overview
Day to day I would sit in on internal and client calls, complete work for actuarial colleagues and work with fellow interns on a summer project.
Skills
I have hugely developed my Microsoft office skills, excel in particular.
Responsibilities
I was always given real work to be doing. This is work that is similar to what I would be doing as a grad.
Support & Guidance
Regular weekly check ins from my manager and 2/3 early careers teams meetings with other interns a week.
Culture
Very friendly office.
Your Impressions
Really enjoyed the internship as 9 weeks long was enough time for me to get stuck in and get to know people. I visited 4 different Aon offices and did a variety of work. Sometimes workload was on the light side but there were lots of resources to look at when this happened.
