Overview
Business Analyst Role - going to different traders/sales people, taking requests / looking into what tech changes would be beneficial to them, planning and sometimes implementing said changes
Skills
Learnt some Java, working with databases, development and testing procedure
Responsibilities
It was very flexible, I was given multiple choices about whether I wanted to complete a bit of development by myself, pass it off to someone else, or have some help along the way. I felt the things I was doing were worth while and valued while not being too pressured over it.
Support & Guidance
The support was amazing with the team I was in, I always knew who to approach about any issues I was having, everyone was incredibly kind and either guided me through my issues on the spot or booked a time slot for me to have a one on one chat with them
Culture
Everyone was really nice, particularly towards the interns - everyone I emailed about coffee chats and networking opportunities was very helpful and found time to talk to me. My particular team was very friendly and made me feel welcomed.
Your Impressions
I greatly enjoyed my internship. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to intern in this area.
