Overview
• Helping more senior engineers on task such plant simulations to create the heat and material balance or becoming more familiar with PDFs/P&IDs. • Observing meetings. • Excel work. • Intern group project
Skills
• Improved IT skills • Improved communication skills for example drafting emails. • Increased awareness of what process engineering actually is.
Responsibilities
I was given just the right amount of responsibility with different tasks to be completed during my internship. However, my team was very understanding when I required a little more guidance.
Support & Guidance
My team were particularly good at showing me how to complete individual tasks. They also provided guidance on what its like working in an engineering discipline. The graduates were also very kind in giving me more general advice.
Culture
Good. The people in the office were nice.
