Overview
I was apart of 2 client teams within Hymans and had the opportunity to get involved in a variety of different tasks incl. calcs and drafting letters as well as being a part of WIP meetings/team meeting. We took part in a group project over the course of our internship and had to present our findings at the end. We also carried out numerous fundraising activities over the internship.
Skills
I have learnt a great deal of technical skills which an actuary carry's out as well as improving my interpersonal skills of working in an office, networking with numerous people and being able to present confidently.
Responsibilities
Yes i was given a good amount of responsibility throughout my internship.
Support & Guidance
Great amount of support from everyone throughout the office in and out with my client teams. Every was eager and available to help me when i needed.
Culture
Such a welcoming and supportive work culture. Settled in quickly and built great relationships with people in the office.
