Overview
As an intern, I was given simple automation tasks in Jupyter or using excel VBA. I spent a lot of time shadowing different full time employees to understand more about their daily work and look for the role that I am most interested in. I felt warmly welcomed and the bank is very inclusive. The bank encourages cooperation rather than competition, so is really good for learning and self-development.
Skills
VBA, different excel modelling, communication.
Responsibilities
I was well trusted. But due to limitation of access, interns are not really allowed to have hand-on experience of actual work. But through talking to the full times I still got a lot of insights.
Support & Guidance
A lot. Everyone from the desk is willing to help as long as you ask.
Culture
I love the inclusive culture of the company. It is a great learning environment.
