Overview
Rotation 1: PB RM. As an intern mainly researched about the role: what clients do they have, what is their role. Shadowed and met many people in PB to get a better understanding of the role. Rotation 2: Equity Research. Helped to build a new report for the research department. This included Bloomberg research and data extraction, forming models, deep dives into specific part of the industry, excel. Also helped with client newspapers and sat into client meetings and results sessions.
Skills
Excel skills have improved. Skills of presenting information.
Responsibilities
For RM not much responsibility. Little interaction with actual desk work. For research lots of responsibility. Helping to build the actual reports and models used on the desk, interacting with clients, working with the team to problem solve real issues on desk.
Support & Guidance
Some support from HR services, not too much. Line manager supported through the programme a lot.
Culture
Great culture, very friendly environment, people keen to interact and meet you.
