Overview
Rotated across two desks during my 9 week summer internship. For my first rotation, I was in the ESG Financing Advisory team. I was given a mixture of long-term projects and a ad-hoc work from my desk. Interns in the primary division also had to work in teams every week to prepare mock bond pitches that would be assessed. In my second rotation I was in the electronic execution team where I mostly did data analytics using python. I also spent time shadowing people on the trading floor.
Skills
Significantly improved my understanding of financial products, particularly bonds. Also developed interpersonal and networking skills.
Responsibilities
Was given similar responsibility to an analyst/desk junior.
