Overview
My role was integral of the team. I acted like other colleagues. I had to pick up tickets whilst working on my intern project relevant to the industry.
Skills
I have learnt several things, such as Tableau, SQL, JIRA and Agile. These items were integral to my project and my team due to the nature of the work.
Responsibilities
Yes. I was just like any other team member. I had my own tickets, projects, and contacts.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support. When I was stuck, my team members wanted to help.
Culture
Very non finance. 9-5 working hours, 1 hour lunches, great sense of life and respected work life balance
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it very much. It was great to learn more about the industry and tech within finance, meeting new people and working in several projects.
Yes
Learn about technology that is not taught at university. Testing, production, different environments, how tasks are run to depth.
