Overview
Was involved in a support role within a Sales team - using CRM, Factiva and FullCircl to research potential clients. Compiling reports on government and market trends. Daily interactions with internal employees.
Skills
Yes - Powerpoint decks, Excel, Salesforce proficiency. Enhanced presentation skills.
Responsibilities
Not given much responsibility - was very internally focused - but to be expected in a starting Sales rolel.
Support & Guidance
People were always willing to give advice and and support me - both in my team and sessions set up by the Early Careers Team.
Culture
Brilliant culture - intelligent people, flat structure, everyone very welcoming, nice office to work in.
Your Impressions
Overall I had a very positive experience. I would recommend it. However, I would have perhaps liked to be exposed to the client side of a Sales role more, which was sometimes limited and especially so because people were not in the office that much.
