Overview
The Actuarial work was very varied. Some days I was working through calculations and others I was helping with reports. I have meeting with the my client teams and have opportunities to work with large data sets. I also had a group project to work on throughout the 8 weeks that I was at Hymans Robertson.
Skills
I have been able to develop many skill. The job exposed to me how important communication and keeping on top of work is in the workplace. The project meant I have the opportunity to develop my presentation and research skills.
Responsibilities
I had a lot of responsibilities and some of my work was able to be billed to the clients.
Support & Guidance
Everyone was very supportive. They encouraged asking questions and were very happy to example any concepts.

Very friendly and social environment.
