The Role
There were many organised elements to my placement which made the experince enjoyable as we were not stuck in the office doing the smae thing all day. Training, presentations, networking events, socials were intermingled throughout our more straight forward working responsibilities.
All of my colleagues made me feel very welcome and valued my input into work and discussion.
If I ever needed help I always had someone to turn to and ask for advice.
I intend to enter commercial law and so the skills I have learnt from practising in this area have been invaluable. I have learnt many things about actually practising and advising clients in a work setting and it has helped me understand the type of work i will be doing as a lawyer.
The Company
We worked hard but the environment was very relxed and fun.
This ws a organised scheme, a two week interview process, therefore it was well organised.
They gave us many talks and training. They exposed u to various situations and gave me responsibilty for tasks. They encouraged me to show them my talent ans skills and taught me many new skills everyday.
I feel that I have found the right comercial law firm suitable for my career as a commercial lawyer.
The Culture
We had many social events both organised and informally organised between collegues
for many events i didn't have to pay as the firm paid for us.
