Overview
The insight involved participating in interactive and engaging group activities such as speed pitching to members of Deloitte. There were many skills-building sessions where we delved into how to be successful in all stages of the application process and within the job itself.
Skills
During the spring week I learned new organisational skills to help improve implementation of solutions for management consulting problems. I also gained important presentation skills to ensure the information I deliver is engaging and succinct.
Business Insight
It was very informative and detailed as there was time taken out during both days to both relay vital information about the business and answer any further questions that we may have had.
Culture
There was a strong sense of community and care for each other within this company. We were treated with respect and members from several different branches took time out of their day to listen to our questions, give us advice, and help us practice the new skills we had learned.
