Overview
My role was to support my team through conducting market research on other online retailers. I would present my findings to my team throughout the 10 weeks in was an intern. I would help my team with projects they were working on.
Skills
I have learnt how to ask and implement feedback. I have developed my research and presentation skills. I have learnt skills related to e-commerce.
Responsibilities
Yes, as interns you are responsible for the project you are given as well as how you spend the 10 weeks with Tesco. It is up to you as a intern to take charge of your experience and what you accomplished.
Support & Guidance
A very supportive team who wanted me to succeed in my internship. Guidance was freely given when asked for. Support was offered from everyone I met.
Culture
A very welcoming environment, very diverse office, atmosphere was welcoming in most areas of Tesco. Some were more hierarchal than others but Online had a great working environment.
Your Impressions
To a decent extent, I enjoyed the 10 weeks and very glad that I was in the Online function. It is a very worthwhile experience.

Make sure you explore all functions at Tesco and reach out to as many people as you can as everyone wants to talk and very happy to have a catch up.
