    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I was a summer intern on the PCA team. Day-to-day I would be involved with creating presentations, formatting and admin tasks. I was also able to participate in some external calls. Once a week there was an internal team meeting where we would all come together and discuss any key updates and outstanding tasks.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • My main task was formatting PowerPoint slides, so this was a skill I practiced a lot. I improved both the quality and the speed with which I could work through these tasks. Also admin and task management was important to the role, something I developed further over the course of the internship.
