Overview
I am a data science intern within the data and digitalization department of national grid electricity distribution. My day to day role involves working on predictive models to derive insights, developing data visualizations with power Bi and ensuring data usage is in compliance with GDPR policies.
Skills
Yes I have learnt new skills such as automation and bookmarking in power BI. Also improved my python and SQL skills .
Responsibilities
To be honest , I was assigned a good level of responsibilities. However, I also took ownership of projects and ensured I delivered.
Support & Guidance
My line manager was incredibly amazing , all my team colleagues were really warm and accommodating, always ready to help. I received so much support.
Culture
National grid is an organization which treats its employees as its greatest asset. The culture , values and atmosphere of the company exudes diversity, equality and acceptance of ideas. My time at National grid will always be special to me.
