Overview
During my internship, I was involved in several key technical functions, including: Cluster Management: I gained experience in rebuilding clusters on Apigee, ensuring their optimal configuration and performance. Traffic Management: I updated traffic templates to optimize the flow of data and improve application performance. Scheduling Automation: I learned to schedule start and stop times for applications running on instances, which helped in managing resources effectively and reducing costs. Environment Management: I scheduled start and stop times for various instances and environments, such as production, testing, and development, to ensure efficient resource utilization. Monitoring and Performance: I utilized Dynatrace to monitor application performance and system health, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively. Version Control and CI/CD: I used GitHub for version control and Buildkite for continuous integration and deployment, contributing to a more streamlined development workflow. Platform Navigation: I learnt how to navigate the Apigee platform efficiently to manage APIs and troubleshoot issues as they arose. AMI Management on AWS: I learned how to obtain and implement new Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) on AWS to ensure the use of up-to-date resources. These experiences equipped me with valuable technical skills in cloud computing, monitoring, and resource management, significantly contributing to my professional growth.
