    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I first start to develop a project in optimising shopper-marketing and digital process within the customer development team. Also, I assist my line manager in her customer account management in sales planning, collecting and sending samples, transferring product images to buyers etc.

Develop a clear timeline and deliverables for my project, seeking feedbacks for improvement" 2. Sharpen customer development skills a. Gain a deep understanding of Unilever's customer base (retailers) in the UK by attending as many meetings as i can with key account managers or researching specific retailers. b. Learn how to analyze customer data to identify gaps and opportunities for growth. c. Develop my negotiation skills" 3.Develop FMCG industry knowledge "a. Master Unilever's product portfolio and understand its key brands and categories in the UK market. b. Research current trends and challenges in the FMCG industry, particularly around shopper marketing and digital. c. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) used to measure success in the FMCG industry and customer development."

  • 1. Study more about the background of Unilever, the story of its foundation 2. Walk into the grocery stores/ variety stores to observe Unilever's promotions and products 3. Be yourself as much as possible
