Overview
Assigned to an audit engagement. Revenue testing, cash testing, online bank confirmations, inter company testing. Visiting client sites, emailing clients.
Skills
Learnt many new skills. Had never worked in an office environment before, let alone audit.
Responsibilities
A lot more than expected. Given freedom to work independently with just a check-in from a manager every few hours or so. Was able to contact clients myself.
Support & Guidance
Plenty. I knew who to reach out to if I had any issues.
Culture
Really sociable. Met so many people and all very talkative/ open to talking about their work and experiences.

Just go in with an open mind! Say yes to every opportunity that arises. Go to every social. If given option of working in office- do it!
