The Role
Really enjoyed the variety and the people I worked with were great.
I was really well valued within the wider Marketing Team, I felt that my work was appreciated.
I was supported a lot at first, but it was nice to be able to supervise myself throughout a lot of my placement, as it gave me that chance to learn things myself.
Over the summer I was quite quiet, but over the year the work picked up and it was good to be busy.
I was given a fair amount of responsibility, especially within certain parts of my role. I enjoyed managing my own time.
My skills within communications and understanding how to develop professionally.

Flexi Time

Working from home
There are limited opportunities in the area of marketing that I would like to develop a career in.
The Culture
I had a really great set of housemates, and enjoyed a good social life with other placement students during my year.
Expensive as we were in London, but manageable.
Really fun, but long journeys home on the night bus and expensive entry and drinks prices, as we were in London.
Good giveback scheme in the workplace meant we got to enjoy days out of the office, helping in local communities.
