    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • Very welcoming and pleasant. Everyone will be happy to talk to you regardless of how high up in the hierarchy they are - this is more pleasant than you think it is. The company and the people actively encourage work-life balance. Genuinely one of the best places to work at.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

    • I enjoyed it a lot more than I think I would have at any other internship. As I said, genuinely one of the best places to work at in terms of culture. The workload was adequately challenging as well.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Softwire

    • You have a good chance of getting an internship if you're a nice person. In terms of technical ability, you will do well if you can pick up new programming languages and technologies quickly. Don't be bound by specific languages or syntax, and you can get in. If you do get in, the internship will be a really really fun 2 months, so I would recommend taking the offer.
