Overview
- Calling clients regarding open invoices - Using SAP for accounting functions like applying a payment to an invoice, writing off credits and withholding tax - Following up via email
Skills
Yes, I found out about accounting procedures in and outside the company. Additionally, I am now more comfortable in making calls to clients.
Responsibilities
Yes, a lot. From the beginning, I was assigned tasks that full time employees usually perform and I was trusted to communicate with the clients.
Support & Guidance
At the beginning of the internship I feel like I received a lot of support. As time passed, I became more familiar with the tasks so I did not need as much guidance.
Culture
I think it is hard to find another company that values its company culture like Bloomberg does. From the very beginning, I took part in many events, including some volunteering ones. The general atmosphere in the company is so unique and wonderful.
Your Impressions
Given all the opportunities I was given during the internship, I am highly pleased with the experience. As I always say, there is no other internship program like the one offered here at Bloomberg.
