Merchandising Tasks: - Analysing trends and shopping behaviours - Supporting with the buy for the EMEIA region - Aligning with budgets and the strategic direction of the business - Understanding customer profiles within the different regions - Analysing data - Providing training to stores about the product - Store visits - working closely with stores to ensure they have everything they need to maximise sales and remove slow selling styles - Competitor/market research - identifying gaps in the market, strong understanding of product offerings from competitors - Working cross functionally with different departments - customer ops, VM, store teams, central merch teams, warehouse teams, different regions, planning - Understanding of other divisions within merch IE. accessories/MRTW - Tracking seasonal ST% - Out of market top up orders & forecasting CF sales - Creating visual documents & communications in retail updates to stores - Analyse historical data and knowledge on market trend to offer the right products in the right time - Provide action plans to capitalize sales by studying trends - Provide feedback to Central Team on missing opportunities and product requests Allocation Tasks: - Reviewing and launching newness to stores - Reviewing and replenishing stock to stores - Updating files to be able to review sales performance and stock situation - Handling store and client requests to enhance the customer experience and maximise sales - Providing support for merchandisers to move stock in the region to react dynamically to changes in purchase trends from clients - Updating delivery reports to analyse what styles can be launched to stores

I was given lots of responsibility throughout my 12months I was treated like a full time member of the team and was trusted to carry out lots of important tasks and responsibilities that contributed to the success of the merch team

I received a huge amount of support throughout my time at Burberry all managers and directors were hugely supportive and took the time to go things 1:1 to develop my skills further and provide lots of feedback.

The culture at Burberry is fantastic, everyone on the team is so supportive of each other and everyone helps each other out to ensure success for the whole team. Everyone is really inclusive and kind which makes such a happy environment to work in.

I enjoyed the 12months more than I could have ever imagined! I was so happy to go into work everyday and be surrounded by such an incredible group of people.
