    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • All of us dedicatedly worked on one project throughout the 10 weeks. I was responsible for automating the acquisition of a certain document type by building an ETL pipeline. This required understanding the Bloomberg tech stack (which is very particular to Bloomberg). I had to understand the various components available for the pipeline. Since I was working with a new acquisition method that even my team wasn't familiar with, it required communication with many engineering teams.

    • Absolutely amazing. So many coffee chats and very warm people who are not engaged in a cut-throat competition. Instead, everyone grows collaboratively.
