Overview
Making marketing materials for sellside deals - involves slide making, research etc. Preparing pitch books, Creating bidder lists and presentations, Competitor analysis and research
Skills
Improved Powerpoint and Excel skills, Improved commercial awareness and insight into business sectors, Greater understanding of financial concepts and models
Responsibilities
We were treated like analysts and given increasing responsibility as the summer went on including attending client meetings
Support & Guidance
We had training for the first week and then the team would provide continual support throughout the internship
Culture
The people I worked with were very supportive and helped me to develop my skills throughout the summer without any fear of making mistakes or asking for help.
