Overview
I will either be conducting ecological surveys on site, or assisting with desk based work such as report writing, habitat happing using GIS, or helping with BNG calculations.
Skills
Yes I have learnt a range of survey skills, and how to use the GIS platform. Also I have learnt how to write ecological reports and how to use the BNG matrix. I have also gained some botany knowledge.
Responsibilities
I was responsible for meeting deadlines for reports and admin tasks.
Support & Guidance
The people I worked with were very helpful, and they were always happy to help if i was ever stuck
Culture
The office was quite quiet, so I worked from home quite a lot, but my team were so lovely, and I met a few people along with way.
