  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • I will either be conducting ecological surveys on site, or assisting with desk based work such as report writing, habitat happing using GIS, or helping with BNG calculations.

    • Yes I have learnt a range of survey skills, and how to use the GIS platform. Also I have learnt how to write ecological reports and how to use the BNG matrix. I have also gained some botany knowledge.

    • The office was quite quiet, so I worked from home quite a lot, but my team were so lovely, and I met a few people along with way.
