Overview
This involved rotating across 5 internal teams after a week of training and then some business research which would be presented in front of the commercial teams. Day-to-day was varied, ranging from shadowing calls, learning about products, team events, checking through emails, finding sales contacts, preparing presentations. Hybrid work.
Skills
Yes- general commercial awareness, 6sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, understanding of databases and the tech industry, building account plans.
Responsibilities
No client facing activities but some work that did genuinely contribute to and improve business operations
Support & Guidance
Quite a lot, especially in the first couple of weeks onboarding and learning about the products. Weekly catch up with manager plus lots of informal chats where people are happy to help
