Sales Operations Executive Review

I process the orders provided by our sales team via software like SAP, QMT and Request Manager. The job consists of solving problems that arise during these orders as well as providing solutions for problems that are handed to our department from our partners whether they be the end users, customers or vendors. I work with a variety of different vendors and customers which all use slightly different formats for processing which means that I must be familiar with all of them in order to provide the best possible service to the teams I work with and the departments that rely on the information that needs to be conveyed.

I have learnt a wide variety of skills which stretch from communication to time management and organisation. These skills have been developed through the understanding and learning of the software's that we use on a day to day basis. The ability to use SAP efficiently has been my personal favourite skill as 89% of UK companies use SAP. Having the opportunity to hone in on those skills has been and will be extremely beneficial.

During my placement, I have been given much responsibility in my role which I am truly grateful for as it has provided me the opportunity to learn from experience which is the best way to learn. Being responsible for handling orders of great value puts pressure on the user which is always a good motivator for education. Any chance to learn how to process a new order or how to liaise with certain vendors is given to you.

The support has been exceptional, from the early careers team to my own department. Everyone at the office is friendly and will welcome questions openly. The team has been one of the most amazing aspects of the company as TD SYNNEX really puts effort into trying to improve the lives of their employees which in turn makes the office environment incredibly friendly and a pleasure to work in.

Extremely open and friendly. Everyone has been warm and welcoming. I work in the Bracknell office but when I went over to the Basingstoke office to work there for a day, so many of the people around me approached me to ask me how I was and how my day was going. It was a really nice feeling to go to an office where I didn't know that many people and yet everyone was ready to get to know me and made me feel welcomed.

It has been incredible so far and I can't wait to continue. I hope that I get the opportunity to come back to the company one day.

Understand what the company does, how their business operates. TD SYNNEX is an incredibly large company, a fortune 500 company and yet prior to my application, I had never heard of them before. But what the company is looking for is honest, hard-working candidates.
