Overview
I assisted product developers with day to day tasks such as measuring and taking fit notes. I was also responsible for pre-production and shipment samples, sending out approval and rejection comments to suppliers.
Skills
I learned so much. I came into the role with no skills so every technical skill from measuring garments to building relationships with suppliers I learned on the job.
Responsibilities
I was given lots of important responsibilities. This has set me up very well with experience and skills for my career development in the future.
Support & Guidance
I had frequent check ins with the early careers team as well as weekly one to ones with my manager. There was also a constant line of communication and I knew I could reach out to anyone if I needed help
Culture
Very friendly! Everyone welcomes you with open arms and is willing to help you with anything. Even as a placement student you are treated with the upmost respect and your opinions are valued and are even considered when decisions are being made.
Your Impressions
I loved my time at Gymshark so much. I would recommend it to absolutely anyone and I cannot rate the experience highly enough. I truly had the time of my life and am very grateful for the opportunity
Yes
Don’t let the imposter syndrome get to you! If you are open and willing to learn it doesn’t matter what experience you are coming in with.
