Overview
Involves both technical support, IT engineering and cyber security operations
Skills
Network engineering, cyber security operations, IT support & communications. PowerShell, BASH and Linux engineering
Responsibilities
Created automated scripts for onboarding new employees and worked with other engineering departments to gain more tools for our team. By the end of my placement, I was teaching full-time employees about new processes for our cyber security operations.
Support & Guidance
I unfortunately had less guidance at the start due to organisational changes, however by the end, I felt fully supported and backed by my team/management.

I enjoyed it very much, it taught me many things about industry prioritises as well as IT infrastructure that I never would have learnt at university

Prepare well for the interviews as there are many stages and they can be very tough. If you are interviewing for my role focus on cyber security, customer service and IT infrastructure
