Communication - from a cross-departmental and cross-locational team Teamwork Attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills - from day-to-day tasks Exposure to new systems - Endur, SAP, IMOS, Nexus, Jira Daily exposure to the operations of energy and commodity markets
Responsibilities
Yes - immediately treated as a valued member of the team and within a handful of weeks you are efficiently assisting the team in daily tasks Opportunities to lead/run meetings, give presentations and take part in project work (both company wide projects and smaller team projects)
Support & Guidance
Line manager, direct team, fellow placements, graduate students, and Early Careers team were always available for any support needed throughout the placement.
Culture
Results oriented Strong accountability but flexible Given freedom to explore other company teams/departments to develop company/industry awareness - everyone very friendly Lots of full-time employees went through the graduate/placement programmes so they have a good understanding on what is wanted/needed Frequent trainings available on different topics allowing for personal development
