Overview
I worked within a sales team at Visa, which included selling Visa products to various companies such as payment orchestrators, gateways, facilitators. It also involved the nurturing of relationships between Visa and clients
Skills
Development of interpersonal skills. Networking skills, relationship building skills, growth in knowledge of the payments industry.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was in charge of 2 different projects on my own. My boss allowed me to go through the process of completing these in my own way/on my own terms and didn't micromanage or act in a controlling way whatsoever.
Support & Guidance
Loads. My boss would sit next to me or very near me every time we were in the office together. If we were working from home he would call at least once a week to see how I was doing.
Culture
Lovely. Very chilled, but professional and efficient.
