The Role
The other interns and friends made throughout the year was a big impact on the amount of stars I provided. The opportunities available were fantastic as it was such a large company however the actual intern roles on a day to day basis were admin heavy.
I got on extremely well with my team, everyone was very friendly and appreciative when I assisted them in projects.
My task manager always pushed me to use my own initiative. However, my PDm (professional development manager) was extremely hard to get hold of and disappointing. I must say that this can not be said for all interns some were lucky and had a good experience with theirs.
There were days where I was completely rushed off my feet and others where I literally had very little to do. However, this was beneficial as I was able to go out and shadow senior levels of staff and arrange giveback days etc...
Once I gained trust from my team I was given a lot of responsibility as I shown pro-activeness and enthusiasm.
If I am honest. Apart from the few lunch and learn sessions I attended the skills I developed will not assist in me in my future studies AT ALL.
The Company
Surrounded by all the other interns so was a good laugh.
Facebook group accounts were arranged so we good meet other interns and organise housing arrangements beforehand. Throughout the year I found that it was fairly organised.
There is a lot of training sessions and shadowing opportunities available. It is just a case of finding the time and networking with the right people to do them!!

You are ranked throughout the year and I was lucky to get into the top percentile bracket so I will be skipping to the final stage of the recruitment process.
