  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • My job as a career ambassador was to assist students in the careers hub which was a space designed for students to drop-in if they had any query careers related. We were trained to do quick checks on their CVs and cover letters or help them find guides to start building one.

    • It was an invaluable experience to do this internship as a student, flexibility, support and networking were always there. I learnt a lot and am very grateful for the people I got to meet.

    • Don't be scared to apply to roles that are not similar to the course you're studying. The experience of working at these internships opens so many opportunities and it's a great job to balance with uni.
