  • - Working with Python, Excel and Power BI to analyse economic data regarding new medicines currently being developed. - Submitting appraisals to NICE and The SMC for new medicines to be approved for use - Liaising between team members and external partners during the medicine approval process

  • I have been given a lot of responsibility. I'm submitting appraisals to NICE and The SMC, as well as monitoring the UK inbox for important communications and forwarding them to the relevant team members.

  • I had two weeks of general onboarding training, followed by team specific training in week 3. We have access to Linkedin Leaning and other online learning resources that we can use to learn various skills.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Really good company culture. There's a lot of emphasis on Joy, and we have lots of activities going on that embraces this, from free ice creams to office food festivals. It's a really friendly and supportive workplace.

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I have really enjoyed my placement. It's been incredibly educational, and I've had a great time working at Pfizer. Everyone is very supportive and I really enjoy the meaningful work that I'm doing.

  • Yes


  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Pfizer
  • Put a lot of effort into the application form - it's really long, but Pfizer has far fewer rounds of interview than other companies. I got an offer from GSK and there were nearly double the amount of stages in the interview process, so each stage really counts at Pfizer. Unlike many other companies, all Pfizer applicants are screened by humans rather than AI, so feel free to really express yourself in the applications!
