    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • As a Network Support Engineer, I was responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our growing client and partner base. I diagnosed problems and troubleshot the entire Meraki product line, including wireless access points, security appliances, and switches. As a problem-solver passionate about networking, I was enthusiastic and tech-savvy, eager to contribute to the team. In my customer-facing role, I interacted with a diverse group of teams, gaining valuable experience and opening up endless opportunities for career growth in a fun, challenging, and fast-paced environment. I took pride in doing excellent work, always looking to both teach and learn from those around me.

  • The cases I was allocated were tailored to my progress within the company, ensuring they were appropriate in difficulty and scope for an intern. I was given regular phone and email cases that aligned with my starting journey, allowing me to build my skills and grow in a structured way.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I enjoyed the time spent at Meraki immensely. I learned a lot and was able to develop key troubleshooting skills very fast. The level of professionalism is inspiring and the team’s dedication is ensuring growth. I really liked all the events planned for us and the care taken by Lisa and the rest of the recruitment team. My line manager really dedicated their time to allow me to grow and showed care. Thank you for this opportunity!
