Overview
Contacting my supervisor every morning to find out the tasks for the day. If tasks have rolled over from the day before, I continue on with them but let her know during the start of my shift that I'm continuing on with the tasks from yesterday. I usually worked on one task a day that would last till the end of my shift. If I finished early, I'd let my supervisor know and she would send me another task to work on.
Skills
I worked on excel and made excel sheets where I collated specific data, which I had never done before.
Responsibilities
No, since I wasn't working in a team but rather under my supervisor due to the nature of my internship, as it was remote working. I felt responsibility when I had to submit a task by a certain deadline but other than that, no.
Support & Guidance
Received a fair amount of support since I only asked for it when needed.
Culture
I did not interact with a wider team.
Your Impressions
I liked my internship due to the variations of tasks I'd get often. I dabbled into new things I hadn't experienced before.
Yes
If you want a social aspect to the work, then you should work at their local branches. They always have events going on for charity that have loads of roles for everyone to do which can be quite fulfilling.
