Overview
Collecting, analysing and distributing data of the performance of our products. Understanding how we can improve strategy for our product vs competitors in the market.
Skills
I have learnt a lot about excell, PowerPoint and various other computer applications. Of my existing skills they have all been developed massively with the help of colleagues and courses available at Samsung.
Responsibilities
Yes, with various movements in the team I was given differing levels of responsibility; from leading meeting to just taken notes, I feel I got a well rounded experience of it all.
Support & Guidance
We received a lot of support during the first months of the placement, which then decreased after. But I always felt like I could contact the emerging talent team for any support
Culture
As a Korean company there was a slight culture divide from placements and ex-pats who worked there. However with the team events and communications through the business this divide was often made smaller.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement, the work load was sometimes a lot however this was made better by the support network around me.
