    Your Impressions

  • 5. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • loved it! couldn't have asked for a better vacation scheme. I learned more than I thought I was going to, and genuinely found all of the activities and workshops organised really interesting. everyone was so kind and supportive. I also got a lot more involved in client matters than I thought I would, which not only was really fascinating but it allowed me to learn more about the firm's work and clients.

  • Yes

  • 8. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Ashurst
  • really know what differentiates the firm from others (key industries and sectors), focus on why the firm has offices where it does, there is no point in simply mentioning that it is international. bring up its culture. be yourself and highlight your strengths and interests in your application, events the firm has hosted that you have attended. stay commercially aware and read the news - summaries on finimize are great, for example.
